Candlelight Vigil to be Held Thursday, March 19 in Johnson City

Thursday, March 19, 2009 marks the 6th anniversary of the start of the Iraq War. Concerned TN Citizens will host a peaceful candlelight vigil at the Kiwanis Park at Knob Creek Rd and Guaranda to mark the anniversary.  The vigil will begin at 7:30 near the pavilion.  

All are invited to participate as we reflect on the last 6 years, the sacrifices that have been made by those who have fought in both Iraq and Afghanistan, and the sacrifices made by the people of those countries.

Bring a candle.  Participants are also welcome to bring prayers, readings, and stories to share.
